The Unlimited Taco Stand

Last year, the Tacos raised over $10,000 in funds for the Southern California Immigration Project, or SCIP: a public, non-profit orginization dedicated to delivering services to survivors of human rights violations by providing pro bono and low bono legal services to immigrants. We called this event Taco de Mayo in honor of Cinco de Mayo, a holiday that emphasizes the importance of family and friends in Mexican-American communities all across southern California. It is a frequently misrepresented holiday that we wanted to properly respect by giving back to the local community. Due to the resounding success and genuine joy brought by this event, we have decided to make this an annual charity, for as long as the blaseball community will have us. So, without further ado… Hello and welcome to the 2nd Taco de Mayo Event! Thusly dubbed Taco dos Mayo because we are very creative. - - - - - - - - - - Speaking of creative...The purpose of this here channel is specifically for the creation and planning of this years donation gift: A May-to-May calendar! hello @artist dos mayo and @production dos mayo! It is me, hen, your overlord, here to get some planning generated so that we prevent any last-minute stress. First and foremost! The calendar! since the intention is for it to be printable, we will be doing single page calendars such as the ones attached to this message. each month will include at least one piece of art, maybe some text, maybe some cute little graphics along the edges. i will be making a list of the months, and assigning artists to each. since we don’t have a total of ten artists, and since some pages might have more than one art piece, chances are some of us will end up with the two or two months to do, or partnering with another artist. I will start this delegation after we’ve come up with a general idea about what we want each month to look like. to do list so far, somewhat in order: an overall theme and template (this will mostly be done by the production team) some factual text about potential holidays (including cinco de mayo, of course) monthly art cover art and testers! (this will be much later when we are ready for print testing)
