so, she/her team lawyer (we know we have one, wild wings have said hi enough) named Son Jensen because that was the name of her law firm (Jensen and Son) and what she filled out when al pastor tricked her into signing up for the team when she thought she was signing the team to her firm

In my idea, I was thinking that "The Winning" Son Jensen is a hardcore Blaseball fan with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of its history, a splort genius from a family that lives and breaths Blaseball. A bright-eyed & idealistic young talent filled with an almost worrying passion for the splort and living the dream. Hypercompetitive, too. But extremely naive about the brutal reality of a splort where Rogue Umpires can spell death at any Eclipse, Consumers can cripple entire carreers, and the league's Boss cares more about profit than the splort itself or your safety.

doesn't have to be identical, but should have the same vibe. i like the soft, friendly, cinnamon roll, who gets easily excited and loves a good game or competition. lawyer!son got into time and space law because it's very complex and competitive, is severe in the courtroom but kind to their clients, puts a lot of care into their needs. dragon!son is obsessed with the rules of blaseball, which is why he keeps walking, he is a STICKLER for "that's outside the strike zone". but also very protective of the team and loves hugs. robot!son was built as a toy/mascot, and loves kids and making up games to play, cares a lot about Al Pastor who built her

something of note maybe. real life animatronics have a very limited functionality. modern ones do more and are more capable of course, but traditional ones tend to only be able to do a few things, such as make a talking motion and 'dance' or raise and lower while moving a limb

maybe she used to just have like a few functionalities and then Weird Unslam Bullcrap happened and gave him more stuff to do still maybe mobility limitations of some form though?

I was definitely leaning more into the eastern dragon aesthetic since there was talk about Son being Korean ^^ As for the skin colour, there was also talk about her being a Space and Time lawyer and my brain locked onto Space and that means purble babey

What I mean by this is: son is sweet, and honest, and unassuming, but has a real dark nasty side if you cross her. Oko is mean to your face but loves things unabashedly and is fiercely protective of the people she cares about

But I think son being a lil bird that perches up on Oko’s antlers and they’re just uncharacteristicly sweet to each other is super cute
