I think ellie might honestly be a bit quiet? i feel like ze would be really energetic and get along really well with the team but at the same time, if ze has been stuck in the shadows and still was affected by the unslam, and then has been communicating with dovenpart to bridge the gap between shadows and the active roster this whole time like. I bet she's kinda reserved and taking on that responsibility has gotta be tiring

so something I had thought of yesterday was this weird juxtaposition of the sort of cute depiction on the star board with this horrifying, primal force of hunger sort of deal

ellie's the bridge between the shadows and the rest of the team but ze totally screws with them dovenpart's like "hey everyone i really miss you and i hope you're doing good how is quitter i heard she shelled someone" and ellie's like "he says your last season sucked butt"

Ellie goes with Macy on trips to explore junkyards and alleyways but goes out of zir way to try not to make a mess, because those are really good shoes,

Ellie is the friend who says "YEAH, THAT'S BULLCRAP" but also makes sure you don't go burning down a building over it. They are supportive but caring

like I really like the idea of emphasizing the sharp contrast between quiet and unassuming personality and oh yeah she's also this terrifying eldritch mouth creature thing but she's so nice

I just had the mental image of Ellie just having a normal conversation with her "normal" mouth, but when she swears the big mouth opens up and her voice gets a lot deeper

i like the idea that Yummy Could body horror if she wanted to. like she doesn't usually and normally you do not have to spoiler her for body horror but If She Wanted To

yummy has been in the shadows for so long and has been communicating well with the rest of the team regardless so she lowkey seems pretty powerful. i think she can pick and choose some elements of body horror like ze just decides every once in a while to harness some interdimensional being and turns into a shadow with a huge mouth one game and then comes back normal the next

I think it would be a cool narrative if ze seems to have a decent level of choice over her appearance versus dovenpart who seemed like the unslam made them more unpredictable appearance wise if that makes sense? like the unslam made her Powerful

I think it's interesting to think like. if elena is coming onto the team having some idea of the roster because she could communicate with them like. ze knows these people, generally, already which is interesting an interesting dynamic yknow

I really like the idea that Ellie absolutely understands how to make food and what other people like to eat, but also absent-mindedly eats baseballs and forgets that other people think that's weird.

I think elena and wyatt were def great friends too, if they have that in common and both were close with dove my heart......

Upon hearing about the fabled “taco,” which is conspicuously absent from Yummy Los Angeles, Yummy Elliot set off wandering various Angeli until a misinterpreted invitation to a kickball tryout leads Ellie to accidentally joining the Los Angeles Tacos Blaseball Club. Ellie, like most other “Yummy” beings, has an insatiable appetite, an iron stomach, and endless curiosity for how things taste. Finally leaving the shadows means they can try all the foods they’ve only heard about, such as Spicy Milk. They were eager to prepare delicacies from their native Angeli for the other shadowed players to try, but Yummy food ironically lacks the universal appeal that its namesake may imply. The Wyatt Masoning was of particular interest to Ellie, since everyone sharing the same name reminded them of home. Ellie is eager to someday meet all the other “Wyatts”. (under the impression that they haven’t met the non-shadowed team members and has only met Dovenpart? And that they generally know what’s happening in blaseball from the shadows?) (In terms of appearance, I’m imagining sort of a cute and toothy demonic creature. Something between a Nightmare Before Christmas and Disgaea character. Very prominent jaws and teeth, but otherwise a seemingly gentle creature. Maybe even a you-cant-really-tell-what-they-are-exactly type character like FF black mages or Taokaka from Blazblue. Hooded or otherwise obscured, and just dots for eyes and a mouth that’s as large as it conveniently needs to be)
