Here is an example pitch:
"LET DOM WOM PITCH" Blessings we should go for: I don't care about Blessings! They aren't worth it when we could dedicate all votes to wills. Blessings we should avoid: Reasons stated above. All of them. Wills: We should exchange Yummy Elliot for Dominic Woman, because Dominic Woman is a terrible pitcher and it'd be really funny. Additionally, we should avoid any boosts to our other pitchers. The end goal of this is to enter partytime as fast as possible while still keeping our bats intact, so we can have our batters party, get even more beefy, and cash out Sun2 as much as possible. Second will doesn't matter. Decrees: Still don't matter to us, because Dom Wom is our priority.
If you see this pitch and want to express support, react with upnut! If you have comments on it, move to #voting-siesta, and try to format comments like this:
For the "Let Dom Wom Pitch" plan, I think: - Dom Wom is on the Tigers, so we couldn't actually exchange them - Partytime boosts aren't that strong, so this plan wouldn't actually boost our batting that much - We've already had bad pitching so it's not very funny anymore, the joke is tired. - I think Dom Wom would be an interesting character to make lore for and would enjoy the swap
Try to avoid comments like this:
For the "Let Dom Wom Pitch" plan, I think: - I want the Tacos to be good, not bad, so let's not do this plan - I think Exchange is an unfair Will and don't want to use it
These comments aren't useful, because this kind of discussion is circular - please express these kinds of opinions in the team vibes poll.

Static Science with Sexton Wheerer This combines two ideas which would have been competiting if we had the 12-14 wills only. idea 1) Foreshadow Wyatt Mason IV, commonly known as Ivy. idea 2) Bring Sexton to the Lineup Why? 1) Ivy is um... volatile. They may not last the season, and I think there is value in having 3 pitchers. It will make us less vulnerable to weather as well as joke votes for HAHAHA 1 PITCHER, which is a bit overdone. As for the returning pitcher, my personal preference is for Michelle Sportsman, who was almost a choice instead of Yummy Elliot in the S12 Election and would be a valuable addition to the rotation. I understand that there is a desire to see McBaseball, who would be a worse pitcher than Ivy, I would not push hard against McB being the choice. 2) The main benefit of our reduced lineup was getting Val as many at bats as possible. This doesnt apply anymore, and majority of our lineup is solid to great, with the low end being Hex, who I do not want to see foreshadowed (I love Hex). Move Sexton to the lineup gets a 4.5 star batter added to the lineup without sending someone back. How? Wills: 1) Foreshadow Wyatt Mason IV for Michelle Sportsman. NB: This may have to be executed early in case of static emergencies. 2) Move Sexton Wheerer to Lineup Blessings and Decrees do not impact this plan. cancelled idea. New information says bad (If Ivy gets static'd before votes exist, please see alternative plan: Sportsman Sexton let B Mase finally stop) (edited)

"-72 degrees and infinite" Blessings we should get: a majority of blessing votes into Absolute Zero, and some into Triple Crown and Batting Practice. Absolute Zero as it'd be nice to have a blood type blessing finally. Triple Crown and Batting Practice are for helping our players get home. blessings we should avoid: Water Logged, Easy Out, and Lead Off. Water Logged, as going for two blood blessings seems wasteful and my gut instinct is more teams will go for Water Logged rather then Absolute Zero. Easy Out would move hex to the back of the line up and she is much better at the front. Lead Off would move McD to the front and he's far better off in the current spot of number 2. this plan doesn't touch on what to do with wills or decrees.

Static Science: Oops All Narrative Edition This is technically an alternate version of the above Static Science idea. It is also modular in that it can fit with any other single Will we want. Will Involved: Foreshadow Wyatt Mason IV for Wyatt Dovenpart. Why: Okay, I recognize that Dovenpart is a bad pitcher and that this is strategically a bad idea. I would like to put this idea out there though because I would like to think about it. The appeal of getting Ivy into the shadows is the same as in the main Static Science plan. The appeal of getting Dove possibly-out of the shadows is: -we don't know exactly what Static Science will do. if it winds up having disastrous consequences, which I will admit I don't think is entirely likely but is not impossible, it would probably be better to have those consequences on someone with less stats? -every possible outcome of this is extremely Narrative. Dovenpart was the pitcher for the Grand Unslam and thereby semi-directly responsible for the Wyatts Mason existing, and it is common fanlore that he was close friends with the original Wyatt Mason. Dovenpart trying to do what he can to possibly save Ivy makes me go 👀, and is a great story. This plan will work with any Blessings, Decrees, or second Will. I am very okay with going for a more strategically sound idea (but will probably place at least one singular wimdy vote into this plan regardless and let the mostly-against-it odds decide, to be perfectly honest) but wanted to get this idea out there as an option.

Sportsman Sexton let B Mase finally stop This pitch is operating under the assumption that unfortunately, Wyatt Mason IV, aka Ivy, has been staticed. If that has not happened, please disregard this pitch Similar to the reasoning mentioned in Static Science with Sexton Wheerer 1) I think there is value in having 3 pitchers. 2) Sexton is beloved, and with the Reform will, in S16 we can help him out with one of the two looming threats (Superallergic and Ego++(potentially +++ without idol clear)) He is a 4.5 batter and would be a great addition to the lineup fk stats wise. As to who Sexton replaces, my recommendation is Rat Batson Basilio Mason (aka Basilito aka BMase). While Hex has the lowest star count in the lineup, Hex has a habit of getting walks and getting on base which should still happen despite the S14 chomp. Also Hex has TWO ways of potentially fixing herself. Perk and Siphon. While she hasnt had a positive sippy in a while, it is an option compared to Basilito having none. Basilito is our second weakest hitter (this was written before seeing Gwiff in a taco uniform) and has played the most consecutive games for us. Let him get a chance to not play. deleted cause Batson How: Wills 1) Move Michelle Sportsman to Rotation 2) Foreshadow Rat Batson for Sexton Wheerer This plan does not use Blessings or Decrees.~~ cancelled idea, new info says bad (edited)

The Church of Dingers Go big AND go home. Decree: Bats Blessings: Epiphany, Absolute Zero, Batting Practice, maybe Mulligan Wills: Foreshadow Basillio MasonRat Batson for Sexton Wheerer, Transfuse Batting for Hex (to recover from the consumers' attack) or Rat Mason (most consistent hitter, lowest divinity other than Basilito; could become a home run machine with a good roll). Phenix's First Impression for Blessing Sky's the limit : Net benefit. Very likely to be underestimated. At least gives Reform opportunity. Worth 2% Afterparty : We can expect about 3 games of party time from this. Not worth it. Middling : No good. Clutch up : Only apply to one player, for only one season. We don't even know if flood will still be as likely next week. Not worth it. 2 Bloods : YES. Bloods are good. We want. Invest 8% in both. Bird Brain : Net positive. Only apply to one player but still good. Might be worth 2% Mulligan : Net positive. Hex might be a very good player to get fourth strike (awaiting analysis). Worth 2% 4 Practice : 2.5% flat boost to the whole team. Worth 8% each 4 Shadow practice : 6.5% flat boost to the whole shadow. Good for long term growth. Very likely to be underestimated. Worth 8% each. Easy out & Lead off : Hex is good where she is, so NO. Blood pact : Siphon tends to be above average players (awaiting analysis), and they are good for growth. Might be worth 2%. Fringe Benefit : Perk alone is not worth it. Might reconsider if the perks players are good (awaiting analysis). 4 single player boost : average 40% to a single stat to a single player, which is about equivalent to a 2.2% improvement to a single player batting, defense and baserunning stats (actually a bit more because they are particularly useful stats, but definitely less than a 4% flat improvement to all stats). I think, likely to be overestimated. Might be worth 3% each. (edited)

the I have been completely Jokerfied and think going down to two or one pitcher(s) is actually good. Also let's bring out Wheerer plan Desired Wills -- Move Wyatt Mason IV to the shadows rotation. We can always Move someone out if we decide this was a bad idea. This should, in theory, make our roster smaller, and also protect Wyatt Mason IV from that pesky feedback. Small rotation is good because it means more games for Yummy. -- Foreshadow Sexton Wheerer for whoever our worst hitter is (probably Basilio Mason), because we started this trade and by gods we're going to finish it. Also it sets up Sexton to Reform his Superallergy later on. Desired Blessings -- Living Single, because a +0.4 boost to OP on a 2-pitcher rotation on a team who wants to have a dinger stadium is just so, so powerful, and we absolutely should not pass it up. -- Mulligan, because fourth strike would go on Hex, or Fig if we decide to shadow Hex instead of Bmase. This is really good because they are our two non-Bmase hitters who struck out the most last season. -- Shadow Batting Practice, because we have a few players in the shadows who are really close to being good hitters but could use that extra nudge, namely Son Jensen, McBaseball Clembons, and -- surprise -- Basilio Mason, if we pull off the other part of this plan. -- Shadow Running Practice, for the same reason, except this one is probably going to have less teams going for it which makes us more likely to get it if we go for it. Lower priority blessings that are still nice: -- Clutch Up, because we all saw how good High Pressure was, and this would put it on Rat for a season. And I like Rat. -- Epiphany, because Church of Dingers even with the chance at a divinity drop -- Triple Crown, because triples are good. this is bad if it lands on Hex though because she sucks now -- Batting Practice and Running Practice, because while they're minor buffs they're still what we need (edited)

Bye Bye Basilito This will only be worth considering after the taco vibe check. I do not feel strongly enough about this to go against the vibe check once performed Equivalent Exchange is VERY GOOD for B Mase, as B Mase has a bunch of extra stars which dont really translate to blaseball performance. Based on the restrictions of +/- 2 combined stars, Basilio Mason can be swapped for the following 4.5+ star hitters (in order of hitting stars): Alston Cerveza - Talkers Jessica Telephone - Pies York Silk - Crabs Rai Spliff - Steaks Blood Hamburger - Thieves Commissioner Vaper - Talkers Conner Haley - Steaks Simon Haley - Thieves Nerd Pacheco - Pies crossed out the ones with known problems: Superallergic, debt, being blood hamburger I have not done the underlying stats dive, but just looking at the names, all but Rai Spliff and Simon Haley are known performers and frequent blaseball-reference hitting leaders Wills: Equivalent Exchange Basilio Mason for a player from the above list No Decrees or Blessings are required in this plan. General Vibe Check Polling is required. deleted because vibe check poll has indicated that interteam stuff is unlikely (edited)

Operation Umbral Preparation So the reasoning for this is based on three(ish) facts. -We play around in the Shadows a lot, more than most teams, and have extracted pretty much all of the talent there. Yummy, Envy, Vito, marinating Sexton for a season...you get the idea. -We have an absolutely MASSIVE Shadow lineup compared to our actual main team. However… -They’re almost all universally terrible, terrible players. Like...Pbong is better than a LOT of them. Therefore, I think we should go for either Shadow Batting Practice or Shadow Running Practice. This will help us immensely, both by giving us more options in the long term for shenanigans and by alleviating (at least partially) the blow that would come if something...bad were to happen to one of our players. The way it stands now, if one of our guys dies and someone new has to step in, we’re pretty much done for the season. We have a chance to buff huge portions of our shadow lineup at once, we should absolutely take it. (edited)

Extreme Makeover: Lineup Edition We've spent the last few seasons focusing on our pitching rotation, and we're in a good spot. Yummy is a borderline ace, Vito is sneaky good, and Ivy is serviceable for as long as they stick around. It's time to start focusing on what's going to put us over the top: making our lineup so lean and mean that the likes of PolkaDot, Brock Gonzales, and Brock Forbes are going to be peeing their pants when they have to face us, instead of the other way around. Decrees: Bats. We need this to pass to (a) counter the emerging pitching meta and (b) narrow the gap between our rotation and the other best teams. Wills: Foreshadow Greer Gwiffin for Sexton Wheerer; Move Basilio Mason to the Shadows. Getting Sexton into the lineup has been the long-term goal, and it makes the most sense to put them in the 3-spot, as opposed to further down the lineup. BMase is our worst hitter, and shortening the lineup will (a) give our hitters at the top more at-bats and (b) break up the Super Basilio Bros., who are the weakest part of the lineup. Blessings: Mulligan, Clutch Up, Sky's the Limit. My prediction is that there's going to be tons of competition for the blood types and the 8 practice blessings, so we're better off not wasting votes on trying to wimdy those away. Mulligan should be a top priority, because it would give the Fourth Strike mod to Hex, turning them into a walk / on-base god—which would then turn McD and Sexton into RBI machines. Clutch Up would go to Rat, which would be a nice stats/lore synergy, since they're currently becoming the King of Elsewhere. Sky's the Limit is a nice little rotation boost that I don't think will be hotly contested, and could get us a win at an opportune time. The wills alone are going to make our lineup significantly better, and if we get lucky on one or more of the blessings, there's a potential to make a lot of progress in a very short amount of time. Deep Cuts Here's a list of all the positive for the Tacos Blessings I think will be less contested, relative to the most attractive Blessings in the game. My belief is that most of these will be #5 or lower in the most voted-on Blessings this Election, and thus more attainable for us. How we choose to vote for these is a more nuanced future discussion, but for now I think this sums up my personal thoughts on what's 'viable' to vote on, besides the Bloods. - Sky's the Limit - Mulligan (more contested) - Defense Practice - Running Practice - Shadow Defense - Shadow Running - Shadow Pitching - Shadow Batting - Epiphany - Living Single (more contested) - Triple Crown

Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Blood Let's see what having antiseptic blood will do! - Blessings we should go for: 50% H2O blood, 50% O blood - Blessings we should avoid: All the other ones, and propagandize widely and early that we're doing it so that curious people in other teams maybe vote for other blessings (there's lots of interesting blessings to be had) - Wills and Decrees: Unrelated to this plan, but the fewer votes we put there the more we can put in blessings (edited)

Operation Long Shadows Based off Umbral Penetration, but more specific. Not only do we want to buff our weak shadows, we want to take advantage of having a tiny lineup to easily fix any blaseball that happens during a season. - Blessings: Shadow Batting and Running are #1 and #2 priority, Defense and Pitching after. I think we should pump votes into all four, focusing more on our lineup. - Avoid: We don't want anything that recruits players. Blood Pact, Fringe Benefit. Other team buffs are fine but these shadows buffs are too good for us to pass up. - Decree?: Bats? I guess? Not terribly important - Wills: Foreshadow Sexton / BMase, and Move Rat Batson to the shadows. I believe the shadow buffs will hit both players if we do this, which is just gravy. (edited)

Cast Your Fate to the Wimd There's lots of different ideas floating around due to the sheer number of blessings (good blessings, at that). What if we just let people vote for the ones they want? - Blessings: Prioritize a few as normal (following any other plan we agree on), but hold some percentage, say, 10%. Let individual voters decide which positive blessings to go for here! But, make extremely clear which blessings are Bad and Must Be Avoided.
We could compile a list of blessings to choose from for the choice votes (see Deep Cuts). Also, voters could put this 10% back into our priority targets, whether they think that's a better move or whether they just don't feel like choosing.
- Wills: We've put 40% into wills in the past few seasons. Since we're a relatively unified and large voting group, we likely do not need to worry too much about rogue wimdies. We could stand to invest 35%, or even 30% here. Could be a bit risky though. - Decree: If people want, they can spend their "voter's choice" votes here, but it would be better if we decided that we wanted one more than the others. Idea here is that 1. If we expect certain blessings to be close in expected value, or at least close enough that people are split on which is better, it is statistically better to split the vote between them. 2. If there are certain undervalued blessings that few people vote for, we may have a decent chance of wimdying them at the cost of a marginal fraction of the vote total on contested blessings. Note that this does NOT make any specific plans about any single will or blessing, and can be adapted to most plans.

Numbers go up! Decrees: Focus on the offensively oriented Bats and/or Shoes such that everyone will score more. I have no knowledge if this is strategically beneficial but more numbers is more fun than less numbers. Wills and Blessings: This plan is does not care about what wills and blessings and as such can sit alongside most other plans. Normally we spend very little on decrees and leave them up to personal preference as they are not usually very relevant to us. This mostly isn't changing but I'd like to see a little more into decrees this season (edited)

Go Big or Go Party Not just a pitch for a single season’s election strategy, but an overarching philosophy that either Tacos Good or Tacos Bad would be preferable to Tacos Meh. We seek to maximize the impact of stat boosts on our team averages by maintaining a short roster. We embrace chaos and accept that strokes of misfortune will also hit us harder than normal, because that just means a faster path to Party Time, and we’ll still be able to rebuild just as quickly. We approve of avoiding unnecessary risks, but eschew damage mitigation strategies, as trying to maintain championship contender status in the face of disaster is futile regardless. Decree: Bats, I suppose. Not terribly important. Focus on Wills and Blessings. Wills: Foreshadow Rat Batson for Sexton Wheerer and Move Wyatt Mason IV to Shadows. In the event that IV gets staticed before the election and we don’t do static science, or we decide to accept the risk of leaving them in the rotation, Transfusing Vito or Moving Basilio Mason to the shadows are also good options. Those are also the early candidates for S16 Wills barring any significant developments between now and then (lol like that won’t happen). Blessings: Living Single as primary focus. Triple Crown as secondary focus, Mulligan as tertiary focus, Shadow Practice blessings as quaternary focus. Will/Blessing vote distribution is left to the spreadsheet wizards as we get Apple information towards the election. Stuff we actively avoid: Alternate Trust: Alternates may be an improvement for bad players, but they rarely become good. And Trust is highly random with a lackluster track record as well. Blood Pact/Fringe Benefit: Recruiting players is counterproductive to our short roster strategy, and newly rolled players are usually bad. Middling: Blessings like this one are just a way to cheat ourselves out of Party Time. Full post with rationale at https://pastebin.com/FTP7ixce (edited)

Give Ratson a bat! Will: Alternate Trust on Rat Batson. The reasoning for this is because Batson's stat spread is so unbelievably bad that literally any reroll is better then what it's currently at. Also, fairly sure Rat Batson currently doesn't have a bat so let's just grab one from the local godwell store that's only mildly cursed. Decrees: Bats. We should also make sure every single member of our team has a quality bat to play with after all. This plan doesn't touch on will 2 or blessings.

Long Con Ratson (Category A- Shadow Rat) (Created earlier as a compromise between A and B, but is not fantastic for either end) It seems like a lot of people love our new Rat's name, and I think with what we've done so far with Vito and Sexton we've shown we can do fun things with the Shadows Wills: Alternate Trust on Rat Batson to get better hitting, Foreshadow Rat Batson for Sexton Wheerer to get Rat some extra stars and keep our lineup strong while we prepare to bring him back Decrees: Bats would be most helpful to keep buffing Rat (and the rest of our lineup) Blessings: Could be anything helpful, but if we want to go hard on the buffs, going for Shadow Running or Shadow Batting would continue to improve the Son of Bat (edited)

Deluxe Hard Tacos w/ a Side of Ratson Category B - Batson stays on the roster I think "Tacos Good" doesn't have to be contradictory towards building up Rat Batson. But developing Bats shouldn't take away from having the opportunity to significantly improve our team. One of Bats' strengths is actually his bad batting: He draws a walk nearly every game, which'll set up Halex & McD for RBIs. So not focusing Wills specifically on Bats might be ok for this season so we can go deeper on Blessings that'll likely be hotly contested. Wills: Transfuse Vito's pitching, Move Sexton into Lineup Both Vito and Yummy are great pitchers, but they're not ACES. Having a 5+ star pitcher starting one in every 2 or 3 games would be a MASSIVE improvement in our win chances vs. other top teams. Since Yummy has better overall stats, Vito's my choice for the Transfusion & the 1-in-3 chance of dropping their defense. Blessings: 30% of votes into Mulligan, 40% of votes into Absolute Zero OR Water Logged, 20% of votes into Epiphany, 10% of votes into Batting Practice. The Practice blessings are likely to be hotly contested. Taking a shot at Batting Practice seems worth it, but with the random nature of Blessings, it'll be hard to spend more than 10% on the likely chance every team's spending that much or more. Instead, we should dominate one of the blood types. Mulligan is risky if we also get Batting Practice: it could get applied to IVy if Batson improves more than IVy. But I think it's worth the risk if IVy survives this season. Getting Fourth Strike on Batson would dramatically increase their chances to walk. Since LA Taqueria is The Chapel of Dingers, giving one of our players more Divinity would be great. Decrees: Bats would be best but any of them is fine. Left up to individual choice.

Fastball Down The Middle tldr: the simplest plan is the best one, so this plan requires the fewest blessings, works with anything, and gives us a straightforward better team. Wills: Foreshadow Rat Batson for Sexton Wheerer: Sexton is a great hitter and a tacos standby, getting Wheerer back out has been a goal for a while. Ratbat is terrible at batting, and any attempts to fix them would be better spent on literally any random player who starts from somewhere better (like hex or fig, who have useful buffs, or a shadows player who has a better starting statline). If needed, they can serve as a pinch pitcher in the far future. Transfuse Vito: Vito is a great pitcher with a fantastic statline that lets them pitch above their stars. Let's keep going. Our rotation is small enough that a transfuse would help us more than the equivalent team. Blessings / Decrees: Can be flexible, lots of people have put forward a lot of good plans. Any blessings we'd get or wouldn't get would work fine with this plan because it's so straightforward and doesn't have many moving pieces - as such it'd probably compliment going for many blessings at once (see "Deep Cuts" by Kilozombie, above) Since we'd start to be more of a pitching focused team, we'd be fine with any of the decrees. If anything happens to IV, we'd be okay. etc. etc. One more note: The Tacos small lineup is a huge asset if we try to "run the wills treadmill" - each transfuse we get boosts us more than the average other team, each trade we make is a higher value. We don't need to do anything special with our plans to stand out. (edited)

Also now all our good batters get even more at-bats. Foreshadow Basilio Mason for Sexton Wheerer, instantly giving us like twenty good batters in a row. Is that not accurate? Who cares. Lore Laundry I had a really good time with Yummy and NV's lorejams, and Rat Batson's is vibin, so let's do it every week! ivy_guns Wills: Foreshadow Rat Batson for Son Jensen Next season, foreshadow Son Jensen for Drosophila Hojo. The order doesn't matter, we can refine that later. Continue down the shadows roster until every one of them has had a chance to play blaseball for a week, thus making them legally Lore Eligible. This lets us have all the fun of writing lore and doing lorejams, all while while keeping our newly-beloved characters safe in the shadows where nothing can happen to them tacopleadhearts (Except Seren Moss, we don't foreshadow Seren Moss. Seren Moss is not allowed to play blaseball.) We can save Sexton in the shadows to cap this endeavor off, or if we pull Sexton earlier we can save the best shadows player for last so after we're done with lore laundry we can go back to making the playoffs (to get more shadows players). This also will bestow mild buffs to our entire shadows roster, since being dunked in the shadows makes a player better (somehow) Blessings and Decrees: The other will, all blessings, and all decrees are irrelevant to this plan. Feather are you serious Yes! I would genuinely like to see this happen! This is not a joke, except as far as it is also quite funny. I think it would be fun to do and hilarious. Go Fast or Go Ball? An alternative Will setup to Go Big or Go Party somewhat similar to Fastball Down the Middle that embraces the same philosophy as GBoGP and aims for the same Blessings. Wills: Transfuse Wyatt Mason IV and Send Rat Batson To the Shadows Somehow. I'm not specifying whether that's Move or Foreshadow with Sexton because I don't want it to be a sticking point, we can cross that bridge if/when this idea gets enough support. Blessings/Decree: Same as Go Big or Go Party The rationale behind this is: • Transfuse is still just as powerful as Infuse was on pitchers, and the original GBoGP plan gives it up to Move IV to the shadows instead. • Transfusing IV would bring up our pitching average to roughly the same place as Moving IV would. • Worst case scenario is that we lose that Transfusion to Static, but is a Transfusion lost this way any more wasteful than a Transfusion not used at all? Transfusing IV -> IV Staticing leaves us with the exact same roster as Move IV to Shadows for the same resource cost. • Therefore, it's basically free to try Transfusing IV instead. • We then have our choice of whether to use Foreshadow or Move to deal with Rat Batson. • We can still choose to Move a pitcher to our shadows in the future if we still want a two-pitcher rotation, and we'll have a better reserve pitcher in the shadows for having done so this way. • Also, c'mon, an IV transfusion. That's just funny. Cons: • Losing IV to Static instead of being consigned to the shadows is basically mechanically identical, but may hurt the lore folks. • Losing IV to Static probably also means losing Moses Mason (or, less likely, MaX or NaN), which will also hurt lore folks. • If someone in Wild League necros, IV could Echo their Debt. • We would still have three pitchers for the time being, diluting potential gains from Living Single. • If we get Living Single, there's a 1 in 3 chance it lands on IV and could then be lost to Static in the future. The 5% Choose 20 blessings. Literally put 5% of blessing votes in every one of them. Pro : Unusually high chance of getting multiple blessing. Arguing is limited to which of the 21 net positive blessing we don't try to get. Con : There is 1 net positive blessing receiving 0 vote tacosob (edited)

The (Weighted) 5% I totally agree the above pitch, if there was ever a season to go wide on blessings, this is it. However, there are a few that are notably more positive for our specific build than others are, so we should figure out a few more to axe in order to get these. I feel like there are eight blessings that either don't bring enough to the table, harsh our vibes, or are actively harmful to us; these blessings are as follows: ❌ Sky's the Limit (not strong enough, gives a mod to two players who won't use it) ❌ Water Logged (not bad, just probably the more contested blood and i don't think we wanna try for both) ❌ Shadow Pitching Practice (we have one good shadows pitcher, so this doesn't have enough value) ❌ Shadow Defense Practice (defense is almost never a dealbreaker on a single player, I mean just look at Val Games) ❌ Easy Out (Hex is fine at the start, she can get on base pretty consistently even after everything she's been through) ❌ Lead Off (McDowell Mason is better when he has someone to bat in) ❌ Blood Pact (harshes our vibes) ❌ Fringe Benefit (harshes our vibes) What if we avoid the above blessings and allocate the 5%s that would have gone to them into other blessings that we feel need more weight? Based on the previous pitches, I think these extra weighted blessings deserve 10% each instead of 5: ✅ Mulligan (cannot stress enough how good Hex would be with fourth strike, also it couldn't hurt on Fig either) ✅ Epiphany (church of dingers...) ✅ Living Single (...but only for us) ✅ Absolute Zero (spicy permanent team mod that could be on the level of O No) or Batting Practice (its stats lol), to be decided later bc I can't make up my mind As for Wills I'm basing all of these on the assumption that RatBat has been replaced with Sexton, I don't really care what the other Will is. TL;DR: 10% into the ✅ blessings, 5% into everything but the ❌ blessings (edited)

The Single Amendment to The (Weighted) 5% Living Single would be by far the most beneficial blessing for us, giving at least 1/3, if not 1/2 of our rotation 40% Overpoweredness, while Absolute Zero/Batting Practice are both competing for the 4th 10% slot in The (Weighted) 5%, implying a slightly lower priority to both blessings. As an Amendment to The (Weighted) 5%, I propose we allocate 15% of our blessing votes to Living Single and 5% of our blessing votes to Absolute Zero and Batting Practice

The Second Amendment to The (Weighted) 5% Blood type blessings have been historically incredibly good, with the worst one being "play 5% better in the late season". Meanwhile, we usually don't actually play games where we're losing for long, being either 0-0 ties or actively winning because church of dingers, and Afterparty only lasts for 9 days. As an Amendment to The (Weighted) 5%, I propose we axe Afterparty and put the 5% into Absolute Zero, bringing it back up to 10%, assuming we also go with Single Amendment above. If we don't go with the Single Amendment above, we can put 10% into both Batting Practice and Absolute Zero (edited)

Swinging in the Dark So, our team as currently constructed wins because of a dominant pitching duo and solid defense. But weather attrition has taken its toll on the offense, which is getting dangerously weak. As of this writing, we have 4 out of our 7 hitters in the awful to below average hitter zone by OPS. Here they are in order: Batson, Bmase, Hex, and Gwiff. We have a fix for one of those this season (Sexton), but waiting to transfuse everyone is inefficient and doesn't account for the likelihood of more weather. We need to long-term plan, in a place where weather has no effect, the Shadows. We have two players that can contribute soon, but absolutely need a boost beforehand. Mcbaseball needs a little more thwack to consistently hit and a divinity boost so he's not a banjo hitter, and Son needs better thwack and muscle if he's going to have those low divinity numbers. If Mcbaseball gets a good boost from Shadow Bats, he could come up for the increasingly awful Basilio Mason as soon as next season. Maybe 5-10% in this would be helpful.

Stat Spread Wills The general idea behind both these Will is to have better lineup support for our rotation and to minimize damage caused by potential stat drains. We have not been able to grab any of the renovations that would protect us from stat losses (Mister, Pumps, and we're not planning on Fortifying). I rather we swap and increase active stats than remove players so that we don't condense the damage we receive. Transfuse Hex Batting - Hex is a strong candidate for transfuse on our lineup. We could return her to her pre consumer attack levels so that we can once again have a good set-up batter at the start of our line-up. Because of her evolution, baserunning (and pitching but that's not relevant) should not drop below 1 star if nerfed by transfuse. So Hex is less likely to get a major debuff from the Transfuse than any other batter on our team. Con: This would interfere with Mulligan, as it would increase Hex's stars past Fig's. So the conversation is then is keeping our active stars up the main thing (then we transfuse IV to bring up our floor) or is lineup buffing more important (transfuse Hex or arguably going harder for Hex Mulligan as a risk). Foreshadow Batson for Sexton - I think this one is pretty clear. Batson is striking out too often to be kept on the rooster. Sexton is the strongest batter in our shadows. As mentioned earlier, I don't want to shorten our rooster cause it could make stat drains and other damage like steals or incins more impactful. So I that's why I think it's best to swap these to as opposed to doing a moved and swapping with Bmase. (edited)
